because of an insurance claim we're out of our house for the next 4-6months, we paid for a month here.

the hotel charges us almost 6k for the month which is their "discounted" rate. unfortunately we have found out that this rate isn't a discount in money it's actually a discount in quality and service - we get cleaners/towels/garbage etc. only once a week, we don't get the promised newspapers or coffee, phone calls cost $.50 each, and our "full kitchen" is a stove top and a mini fridge.

the suite is damp dirty and dark, not to mention all the fruit flies that are attracted to the moldy cracks and dirty carpet. the so called free internet barely works in this room, lights are burnt out, we've found rotting food is in the corners, the small fridge they did give us was broken and ruined all of our food, the room itself smells, there's moths on the curtains, and we had to get them to change couches as the old one smelled like urine (we also found urine stains on the lamp shade chair and carpet - don't ask me... i cringed when they told me this wasn't a pet room).

i'm pregnant and because of this sad kitchen i can't eat the required nutrition, because of theses hard and mold smelling beds i can't sleep properly, and because of the lack of sunshine that even reaches our room i'm left feeling depressed and tired. worst of all, the stress of this horrible space has caused problems in my pregnancy.

needless to say i hate it here, and it's way too expensive for us as we only have so much money for living expenses. in fact i am floored by their greed... we found out as more damage has hit our home we can expect to be out for even longer. i found a rental for a fraction of the costs and when our adjuster tried to get a refund on the advance we payed the hotel so that we could move into a better and cheaper environment immediately, they refused. we lost the other house and are stuck here for another 2.5 weeks. and worse - because of their greed!!! - it looks as if we are going to run out of insurance money sooner than expected and might end up with no place to live at all. that 3k they're stealing from us would pay for a couple of months at least of accommodations.

bottom line is PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE!!!
