To be fair to this hotel, it's a bit nicer than the usual Radisson.  For one thing, it's in Norway, which means that things run like clockwork.  The room we had was spotless and efficient, just like most of Norway, but it also had a balcony overlooking the park and the harbor beyond.  The restaurants are not exactly elegant, but the breakfast buffet is one of the best I have seen anywhere.  For bedding down in Bergen, this place gets my vote for location alone.  The seamless service and nice indoor pool and steam baths are merely a bonus. I repeat, this is not the typical Radisson in Des Moines.
