Nice hotel, but too far away

This is a nice hotel and the rooms are great however it's just to far away from everything and you don't have a view of anything. In 3 days I think I ended up spending $200 on cab rides. From the airport to the hotel it cost $30 alone! This is an older hotel and from the outside you can tell it's age. Some rooms over look a parking lot with a grocery store it in. If you are lucky you'll get a room with a balcony that overlooks the Charles River but even then the view isn't that great. If I had to chose a hotel I would pay a little extra for a hotel closer to Boston City limits. If i did that to begin with I'm sure I would have ended up saving money.
