I am a disgruntled owner of a week timeshare at the Northstar Vacation Club.  I purchased my week last July (2010), immediately traded it in for points in the RCI timeshare program (so that I could use my points and travel elsewhere), and Northstar Vacation Club STILL has not given me these points 8 months later.

I wasn't even enrolled in their system until January!

From reading into various conversations with all the workers at Northstar, it sounds like they are going bankrupt, or are really strapped for cash and are doing anything possible to hold onto $ even when it means dishonest dealings with their customers.

BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT CONDUCT BUSINESS WITH NORTHSTAR.
