Situated in Llandovery, this new--since January 2007--designer hotel has just six rooms, but each is specially designed to reflect a particular character or legend from Welsh culture. For sheer curiosity value, the Llewelyn Ap Gruffydd Fychan room, named after "a local hero who defied the English army and paid with his life", has attracted us.
