Luxury, privacy, & Service is what you will find
My Bfriend and I stayed here fo rthe second time in 2 years. There was some construction going on with the river walk way. They were very upfront about it and sent us an email advise of the construction and offered us 20% off the room rate we had already agreed to pay. Upon checking in we got a beautiful room on the river, but decided to move over to the Embardcardo bacuse the rooms are SOOOO large it's like a condo. The service was great the bell man (Grorge) was apolite young man with excellent manners. Melissa at the front desk was very professional, they even sent a bottle of win to our room to welcome us! The location is great near quite of few restaurants that we could walk to and we received coupons for several vinyards. The service is great from room service (free breakfast was first class, as was the turn down service at night. As a business traveler I am use to Hiltons, Marriotts and the occasional Ritz Carlton, but this place is first class, the rate was only $160.00 per night a good value winthin it's self.
Keep driving past this place...
I stayed here for two nights and it felt like being in prison....no privacy in the expensive rooms with people walking past my room windows that overlook the dingy river. There is no sense of this being a hotel, no charming grounds, but rather a college dorm feeling, with the buildings separated from each other....it is not the charm that one would expect, nor expect to pay so much for when visiting the wine country. Keep driving to St. Helena!!!

The Napa General Store serves up a great breakfast and brunch on weekends. -
Perhaps no better place to stay in downtown Napa to experience the resurgence of the Napa restaurant scene. -

Head over to Silo's Jazz Club at the Napa River Inn for some great wine and killer cheesebread!
