Monte Carlo Resort & Casino

From Vegas.com:

The Monte Carlo exemplifies a solid fusion of European refinement, American dazzle and true Vegas hospitality. From the moment one catches sight of the entrance -- remarkable in itself, with its Renaissance statues and cascading fountains -- the Monte Carlo evokes an elegance unique not only to Vegas but also to the world.

    • MC is a great but 4sq HH deal at the pub sucks. $1 PER wing? For HH? ridiculous- bud, mgd or coors as HH beer when they haz trillion different to offer. really? As beer snob, immensely disappointed.
    • Free WiFi in the food court!
    • Chicken & Waffles at the Cafe all day long. Order extra sauce.
    • The male bartenders a pretty douchy. Try to get a female.
    • Diablo's deals range from $4 beers & $12 pitchers to a deliciously deep bucket of their flicker-licking wings for $24.99. Diablo’s Cantina is the place to be when the Packers & Steelers take the field
    • Pay the extra $8 for a room w/view of strip, def worth it, esp for first timers! The buffet is pretty good and reasonably priced.

    • This hotel is very nice and has decent room rates for the strip. Watch out for the resort fee (extra charge added at check-in). The shower pressure is great, very important to me. :)

    • One of the more simpler hotels on the Strip. Take their City Center Tram to save yourself time from walking.
    • If the bathroom light goes out, press the reset button. Saves a lot of time and dark showers.
    • Be aware of room 29102. What was done in there will leave a permanent mark.

    • Eat, sleep, swim, gamble
    • The resort fee is lame. They hit you with it when you book in. It covers a newspaper, Internet (no wifi), and something else that's stupid. Even if you don't use that crap, you still have to pay.
    • A skytram connects to the Monte Carlo, goes to Bellagio etc ., free nice service.

    • Miller 64 @ The Pub during Happy Hour rocks. Be sure to go! Good live music too.
    • Make sure to factor the resort fee that will be added to your stay per day.
