An Aging Star

I stayed at the Melrose Mansion as an anniversary gift with my fiance, and I was less than impressed. We reserved the best room and were greeted with unchanged linens, cracking paint in the room, and no complimentary breakfast. The people at the Melrose are extremely friendly and perfectly willing to make suggestions about restaurants and nightlife, but I just feel it is impossible to justify the cost of the room when it seems to be in mild disrepair.
