Partner Reviews: Marriott Minneapolis City Center

    • Great people watching in the bar due to skyway level access.
    • George Rocks.
    • Nice, large fitness center on the 7th floor.
    • Check in on 5th floor. Makes a lot of people mad, but it's a great saftey feature. You can't just walk in and hop on the elevators to the room. You have to switch elevators on the 5th floor.
    • Sue is the best bartender in town slings the drinks and chews the fat.
    • Slow Internet :(
    • Local calls are NOT free
    • The room was nice, good parking plan ... Dan at the front desk was awesome
    • Wear a jacket our long sleeve sweater in the conference rooms. Its always cold.
    • Agree with Melissa about the Executive, but still a comfy, relaxing stay. The fitness center is pretty cool too. Thanks Marriott!
    • Bring a jacket if u r planning on attending meetings in the conference rooms. It is cold. The beds r comfortable and the personnel r very nice though.
    • Free wi-fi available on Lobby (5th) Level.
    • *Evan[Bu] Silver Medal Property*
    • Careful here, 14.95 for Internet access, unless you're platinum. Also, it doesn't mean that you'll get a king size bed just because Its in your profile! No welcome package either, 4.50 for a water
    • Bar closes at midnight, ask 4 directions to Kierans - it's open til 2
    • Worth the extra money for executive suite although bathroom still small.
    • Pretty good German choc cake if you are looking for a sweet snack.
    • Don't leave your room key in your room when you go out bar hoppin
    • The best staff ever, always there to help.
    • Solid Gold NYE!

No thanks!

For the kind of money you'll spend, there is NO refrigerator, no heater or fan in the bathroom the rooms are small. The "non-smoking" rooms smelled of smoke. We were moved twice b/c it was so bad. It's just not worth the big bucks they charge you to stay there.

great hotel

I have stayed here many times and love this hotel. Its a great location, the rooms are nice. You don't hear people in the hall or in the next room. Its not the cheapest place in town, but worth it is you can afford it.
