Jaenisch cell- 714-402-7572 you can text or call he will walk you in Girls & Guys for free!! no line, no cover! contact him & he will make your stay there one of thee best ever!
For Families only. No good for singles/ couples.
Heard it was a new, hip place. It wasn't. When I checked in, noticed all the families with kids. They were having one of those pathetic "dress your 3 year old like an adult" beauty contests. Kids (3-12 years old) in the Casino, kids @ the pool. Kids EVERYWHERE!!! Checked out PREVE. Nothing like Miami. Had Bottle Service reservations, yet still gave me run-around @ entrance even though club wasn't full. (Just like L.A!). The girls were mediocre @ best. The food @ the coffe shop was mediocre. I went with buddies. Met two separate couples who also said they were never coming back. TOO MANY KIDS!!!!
Lovin' it!
After a horrid experience at the Las Vegas Hilton, I salvaged the rest of my trip and came here. I don't regret it at all! The bathroom was a palace in itself, with a private toilet and a Jacuzzi tub, but the bedroom, along with the view, was awe-inspiring. Also, the Spice Market Buffet downstairs is pricey, but the food and variety are amazing! I wouldn't gamble here, but if you came to see a show, do some great shopping, or have a nice relaxing room, by all means, come here!
A Well Located Hip Deservedly 4 Star Hotel
Just returned from Planet Hollywood. We stayed for two nights, I thought the staff was excellent, the room was very nice (large and well decorated with a wonderful soak tub), I agree with the other posters about the oddness of some of the memorabilia in the rooms (we had the shirt that Macaulay Culkin "actually wore" in some movie I had never heard of). The casino was beautiful, interesting tasteful bars and small restaurants and cafes all around. The tables and the machines were about as good as those at any of the other casinos. The location is fantastic. You are right in the middle of where you want to be. Overall, we felt it is a very nice hip hotel with a well trained and attentive staff. We went to dinner one night at the Spice Market Buffet which is one floor down from the casino. There was a line to go and stand in a line, to go and stand in another line (probably a total of a 30 minute wait), but I must tell you, the food was absolutely outstanding (fabulous rare standing rib roast, King Crab legs with drawn butter, fresh oysters, properly cooked salmon, lamb, duck, shishkabob, I can't even remember all of the available entries. Just everything that is a favorite was there and wonderfully prepared.
Stay ANYWHERE else
I happen to travel to Vegas for business once a month or so for the last 5 years and this was the first time I stayed at PH since the remodel. I found it very unsaftisfying compared to other locations in Vegas. The signs in the elevators have the old information so you never know where you are going (example, the sports book is not on the third floor anymore). My room smelled like turpentine and the trash hadn't been taken out (which in Vegas is very disgusting). Still, the room was large and the bathroom was nice. The spa facilities were subpar, the men's dry suana haad loose floorboards, the steam sauna was broken and wouldn't shut off making it impossible to stay in there, and the whirlpool temperature was lukewarm. Worst of all was the service at the gaming tables. The "executive casino host" Lorna was rude and condensending and basically lied to me. I am by no means a high-roller ($50 a hand), but the pit boss called her over to "rate my play". She said it was nice I was playing so much and that I would be able "level up within a couple of hours" with that amount of play. Many hours and dollars later I was told that it just wasn't enough and that at that dollar amount it never would be. I don't really care about the rewards program (free use of the subpar spa is not worth it) and I never had the expectation of getting any rewards, but I felt very betrayed when they told me it would happen and didn't. To end on a positive note, it is located in a great spot on the strip; next to all the good hotels.
Tank Girl?
They really need to make some changes if they don't want to go bankrupt... again. First of all... it is impossible to even drive into the hotel without getting lost, with all the construction going on STILL! How long is this going to take? They should have shut down and just got it done, but it's taking forever and I'm sure they're losing money because of it. I had to specifically ask for an upgraded room and it is so half-a$$ed. The tiling in the bathroom has been downgraded for unclear reasons. The fixtures are still Aladdin themed. The extremely large and dark furniture makes the room look much smaller... as does the tiny window. My room was the "Tank Girl" room, with two framed stills from the movie... the movie "Tank Girl??" WTF? When I first arrived I had to call a technician to replace the tv box because the movies weren't available to me. I will say it was done relatively quickly... but still an inconvenience. The pricey internet was extremely slow (dial-up slow at times) and totally unreliable. It kept wavering in and out. The casino upgrade is fine but the surrounding walls are so dark with zero art on them. It's kind of depressing. Like an office building in the seventies. The slot machines are all older and cheap looking. Nothing new at all. The new Miracle Mile mall is less than half finished with lots of the old themey stuff hanging around... and why does it close so early? Vegas is a 24 hour town, isn't it? The worst offense of all came when I decided to stay an extra night instead of drive back to Los Angeles on too little sleep. They made it so difficult for me to spend more money in their hotel! I had to go down to the front desk where I was treated as though I was trying to cheat them. The clerk was rude and short with me. She acted like she was doing me a favor. It was almost worth the effort to pack up and move to another hotel! But then I remembered how hot it was outside. I hope they get it together soon.
very nice rooms
I stayed here right after it changed to Planet Hollywood. At first I thought the new theme was lame (does Planet Hollywoood even exist anymore?). But once we saw our room I was happy. The bathroom was huge and very nice. The beds were pretty comfy. The room had movie props and posters decorating it. Ours had a bomb prop from Batman. Anyway, I like the new Hollywood theme. The reception area needs some work, but it had this cool light changing back wall. The buffet was VERY good. I usually don't like buffet shrimp, but they were good. I think once the remodel is finished this hotel is gonna be hot!
Love it
Great hotel, You want to shop this is the place. There is not a long casino that you have to walk thru. It is great to shop in the stores. The rooms are great also you get a view of the fountains in most rooms.
Split personality
So the Aladdin's not really going to be the Aladdin for much longer. It was supposed to have already switched over to Planet Hollywood, but the most evidence I've seen of that is a lot of the slots have Planet Hollywood written on them. They are kind of lost inbetween 2 identities and it shows. When it was just the Aladdin, it was pretty bland for me. When it's Planet Hollywood, it's probably going to be a sleeper for me still.
NICE BIG ROOMS
this is a very nice afforable hotel, the rooms are large and clean, friendly hotel staff, nice restaurants, the dessert passage is a really cool shopping mall. nice spa, my one complaint is the parking, the garage is very nice but it is about a half mile away from the hotel rooms!! it is a long LONG walk from your room throught the casino and then all the way throught the dessert passage! a good 15 min walk to get from your car to your room! but that is my only complaint , i would stay here again any time.
Great Value!
Stayed there back in February of 2006, and will be staying again in December of this year. Not a whole lot of "wow" factor in the casino, as it is partly under construction, but the rooms are GREAT! They're 450 sq feet (as opposed to the usual 300). The bathrooms are HUGE with a seperate tub and shower (the tub was big with high walls - ideal for actually *taking a bath*!). The beds are extremely comfortable (even the pillows were comfortable)... but best of all, the rooms are *quiet*. I head a room almost directly across from the elevators, and could hardly hear any noise from the hallway. The location of the hotel can't be beat, the rooms are truly 4 stars, and you can usually find a competitive rate to stay there. One of the best values on the strip!
Good value
We stayed at the Aladdin just two weeks ago. It was a decent room, niced big bathroom. It was a little cumbersome getting around due to the construction. However, the staff were friendly, and the location is good.
Decent value
Good for now will be better after construction is over.Value is good for club members. Location is very good also.
best deal on the strip
We stayed @ the Aladdin for X-mas/New Year's and it turned out to be our best trip to Vegas yet. Its grandeur is a notch below the Bellagio which makes it luxurious yet approachable. The Desert Passage Mall (my favorite along w/ the Venetian's) is spacious, full of exceptional dining (Commander's Palace, sushi buffet, mexican, etc.), has myriad shopping choices (ABC for cheap H2O/snacks, stores for all budgets as opposed to ultra high-end @ Wynn, etc.), & transports you to another time & place (amazing attention to detail). The Casino is my fave b/c of high ceilings, friendly yet unobtrusive staff, & lucky slots. The breakfast buffet was awesome but steer clear of Zanzibar. The Elemis spa was beautiful and my treatments were fantastic. Bottom line: best location, affordable luxury, crowds not overwhelming, large & clean rooms w/ gorgeous bathroom, etc.
I want to go back
Great place. Staff is really nice. Especially the craps personnel. I didn't know much about craps and they were very patient and had a good sense of humor. I thought the hotel was beautiful. The spa is nice too, but pricey. Pool area is okay, too many kids, but there are too many children in Vegas anyways. For the money this is the best place I've stayed. I heard they are changing Alladin to a Planet Hollywood hotel. NO!!! It's good the way it is.
Less Advertising- Better Buffet
After seeing all the ads about the Spice Market Buffet and their being "voted #1 buffet in vegas", 6 of us went. For $43 a couple we thought it would be great. Big dissappointment! Where was the promised "hand-carved New York Strip steak, an abundant seafood bar"? As we were ready to leave, someone showed up at the steak grill and began to grill steaks. When we sat down to eat, most of us had the same items..scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, toast/muffins. This was not by chioce. Very little variety of food. Denny's or a similar restaurant would have been better and for less. Eight of us went into the buffet but one couple did not want to eat that much so did not join us. If they had, the bill, includng 17% gratuity, would have been over $200. Aladdin should spend less on advertising and more on supplying food advertised.
Great Deal
This is the 7th hotel we've stayed at in Vegas (like to try new places) and would definitely recommend the Aladdin. From the moment our cab dropped us off- the service was great- from a very helpful valet to the free room upgrade. The room was massive - the bathroom amazing! The dealers and pit bosses at the table games were some of the nicest we've encountered and we did better than we've ever done at video poker at the Aladdin. I can't say I loved the buffet, but the cafe is great. Just skip Blondie's if you go into the mall. What a rip off. We're just curious to see how much Planet Hollywood is going to change up the whole place.
Fountain view room!
Had the opportunity to upgrade to a fountain view room -- well worth it as the view from above was even better than at ground level. The central location on the strip made it easy to get around. All the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. The casino wasn't overly loud nor as smokey as some others were. Others had complained about the housekeeping - the only problem we had is they only gave us one glass one day. The conceirge staff was very helpful with directions and infomation. Would stay here again.
Great Hotel
The Aladdin is a beautiful hotel full of abundant shopping and gambling opportunities. The location is excellent, right across the street from the Bellagio Fountains, and next door to the Paris Hotel and many other must see sites! The Zanzibar Cafe offers tasty and well presented food at great prices! Though the housekeeping left a bit to be desired, overall, I highly recommend this hotel and its Fountain View rooms.
what a great hotel
this was our first trip to las vegas, and we stayed at the aladdin on the advice of friends who loved the place...they were right on - everything from start to finish was simply wonderful..great food, great staff, beautiful room, everything was incredible...we went around to many other hotels on the strip and none had that welcoming feel the aladdin gave us...we will be back to vegas, and there's no question we'll be staying here again
Enjoyable stay
I thought the Aladdin had a great combination of comfort, conveniences, and location for the price. My room (a standard room) felt clean but small, though the bathroom is usually large. Nice tub and shower. The conveniences are plenty, from decent restaurants to a whole shopping mall. The casino seems a bit small by new Vegas standards but a comfortable size. When I was there the service was very friendly. Overall, it was priced a little high for what you get, but I recommend it.
Big Winner!!
The Aladdin was great! Amazing what winning will do for your attitude/review. Set up gambling in advance with a casino host...best thing I ever did. They were ready for me and it was the red carpet treatment from there. This carried over to the tables, had a blast playing Black Jack and Craps (highly recommend this for first timers, basics are easy and they are glad to teach). Big thanks to my Casino Host, Jason Mattaini, first class all the way. Best news is, thanks to my winning, I am "comped" from here on out. I'll be back!
Aladdin Resort & Casino
I have stayed at Aladdin on three different occasions in the last two years and have always been impressed with the service, the rooms, the personnel and the food. I have also stayed at MGM, Circus Circus, Paris and Bally's in the last few years and I beleieve that Aladdin is the best of that group, by far. It is not overcrowded, yet there is enough "action" to maintain the excitement level. The prices are very reasonable, the attention to detail is very good and the restaurants are excellent. The machines are loose enough, if you learn the right ones. The table games are professional, but a little quiet. The floor staff is very cordial. The central Strip location is perfect. I recommend the Aladdin very highly. It is an excellent value.
Great Buffet!
The hotel's location is extremely convenient. The rooms are standard sized and clean; the bathrooms are large. The rooms are a little bit of a hike from the entrance, which seems to be typical in LV. You must try the buffet - probably the best next to Bellagio! They also give a discount for the buffet for guests as well as priority seating.
Great View, but...
Just got back from a long weekend at the Aladdin... My fiancee and I had a great time staying there. When we checked in, I told the front desk I heard they had great views of the Bellagio and I got a free upgrade to a room with the Bellagio view just for mentioning it. The Elemis spa is also awesome. The worst part of the weekend was the bed. The bed felt like a bed you'd find in summer camp cabin. Sleepable, but not a lot of fun. The Casino was okay, the buffet was very good. The service was impeccable. THe bathrooms are awesome with a big deep tub.
poor! poor! everything!
This hotel in one word, SUCKED! The front desk is horrible. They are rude and they use endearments instead of your name which is very patronizing. The shops are good and the buffet. The rooms have lying mirrors that make you LOOK super skinny. the only good thing is the the size of the bathroom. you have to walk forever (through all the shops) just to get to your room. No wonder this hotel is going bankrupted!!
Good value
This hotel has a great location. Nice accomadations. Very reasonable price.
Not good
I didn't love this hotel. Outside of the mall, which actually was great and still my favorite on the strip, the service here was bad, the rooms weren't great, there was no gym/spa and they had just gone bankrupt or something. The casino was boring and it didn't have the type of crowd I expect in Vegas. It's a great family hotel, honestly, because of the price and much of this wouldn't matter to families. I also hated that you had to find your room elevator through a sea of slots. I like a hotel where I can get up to my room easily.
Top notch without crowds
The big theme hotels are fun, but suffer from crowds, slow service, and long waits. Not so at the Aladdin. I checked in within minutes of my arrival. The room was spotless. The meeting center and private banquets were excellent. The casino was nice without being gaudy. The staff was very helpful and freindly. And I loved the location on the Strip.
Nice but nothing new
THe Rain storm is the only thing about this hotel that i have to rave about. In the middle of the hotel by the shops they have like an indoor pond looped off.And on the ceiling they have it painted like a clear blue sky with lazy clouds. It starts changing and the blue sky turns black and it looks like a storm is really brewing .. before you know it its sooo dark and it starts to rain!! And then it storms. It looks and sounds so real i even got wet! THe air changed around me and it was cold and you could feel a breeze! It's kinda of fast but happens every 15 min.. its worth it to me to go out of the way to check it out
The Aladdin is doomed!
Just got back staying there for the 4th of July holiday. It was ok, but I would never go back. The front desk is slow and the maid service is horrible. I had to make multiple calls to get the maid to show up! For a billion dollar hotel, they forgot to put any money into the pool. The pool was comparible to any standard hotel pool. The buffet was impossible to get to after breakfast. The machines were tight. The bars and new club (Curve) were nothing to see. If you're a twenty or thirtysomething, this hotel is not for you. Very boring atmosphere. The only nice thing about the hotel is the Dessert Passage. I'm going to the Venetian next time.
Cursed
Front counter service was slow.. Took over an hour to check in and over 30 mins to check out! If you're a gambler, the dealers and pit crews are not friendly at all... I checked my bags with the hotel since I had a later flight that day.. but when I return to get my bags the attendent was no where to be found! He showed up after 30 mins of waiting and was still taking his time. HOrrible service. Horrible attitude. Yea, its cheap to stay there... but I rather pay a few extra bucks across the street at Bellagio for a much better experience.
Nice rooms, great bar
My family and i stayed here and we are very pleased with the service and the room was really nice. Then we went to the bar downstairs, we listened to the music they have different bands playing every night. Very relaxing...
Not bad, but not great
Stayed for three nights over Memorial Day Weekend. The rooms are a bit strange; the bathroom is lovely with a nice large tub and seperate shower, but you can't turn on the light for the commode except for right inside the outer bathroom's door. There is no closet in the standard rooms, rather, a large armoire. That takes care of clothing, but where do you stash your suitcase? . . . I enjoyed Desert Passage, I actually liked shopping there better than at Ceasars as it was less crowded and still had some quality shops, and the 24-hour Starbucks is fantastic (though sometimes it had quite a long line). None of us had much luck at the tables or slots (they're a bit tight), but had fun nonetheless. Breakfast at the Zanzibar cafe was good, but don't bother with the other meals as it gets crowded and service gets worse.
Night with ZZ
I saw ZZ Top at the Aladdin theater located inside the mall section of the Casino. I was very impressed with with the theater. It was clean, and the sound quality was increadible. If you get a chance to see a concert there, I would totally recomend going!
