nice UPW hotel!!

Rating: 10

My husband and I recently stayed here and we had a fantastic experience. First of all, the room were extremely reasonablly priced compared to normal hotels in NYC. The hotel location was amazing---the Upper West Side is our favorite neighborhood in all of NYC, as you can enjoy the city but have room to breathe on the UWS. If you want to jpoin in the chaos of Times Square or Midtown, you are just a 5 minute cab ride, but then you can settle down at the nice hotel in a peaceful neighborhood. The rooms are nice sized with a hotel staff that is eagerly awaiting your arrival and more than happy to help cater to all your needs--whether it be getting you set up for a Broadway show, getting a taxi, or just helping you with your things!! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice boutique hotel that fits into any budget!!!

great budget hotel on the Upper West Side

Rating: 10

I stayed at this hotel a few months ago and have been meaning to write a review about it! First of all, i cant speak highly enough about the location. It is on the Upper West Side, which is a pretty quiet neighborhood in NYC. Also, the prices were not NYC at all, which is great b/c the money I saved on my hotel room allowed me to spend more money shopping!!! I found the staff to be helpful and accommodating and they also helped me get set up with all the tourist attractions. Even though I was there for business, i always try to fit in a Broadway show, and they handled that for me with ease!! The rooms were small but that goes without saying in NYC. At least these were inexpensive. I was thoroughly please with this budget hotel and will definitely stay there again in the future.

HORRIBLE!!!

Rating: 2

I am a budget traveler and found this hotel on the internet. The pictures look great and the price was great. That is about it- when we got there we were on the third floor with NO ELEVATOR!! We had to carry our luggage up to our room, which is the size of a closet. The rooms smell bad and the halls are dark and dirty. The a/c did not cool enough and the sheets were like sand paper. Like I said....I am a budget traveler but this was way below my expectations. I will never skimp again on a room in NYC. Do not stay here!!

DO NOT STAY HERE

Rating: 6

Wow, can pictures be deceiving!!! I found this hotel on the internet and it actually looked pretty nice. So, I booked it for Valentine's Day. Well, the lobby is nice, but the rooms...they're a disaster!!! I turned on the shower and the water was brown. I called front desk, they switched my room, and the water was also brown. They also wouldn't refund my money. He said they would search the hotel for a room with clean water, they actaully found one after half an hour. But the toilet was clogged!!! Absolute horror. And not to mention that the hallways are ugly and not fixed. It was a terrible experience, DO NOT stay here!!!!!!
