Good value, poor service

The customer service here is a little less than friendly. I expect helpful, friendly service from Marriott hotels. The people at the counter seemed pretty complacent to be working there. Not smiling that much, and not very helpfull. I asked if their were any suites available at check-in, she just grumbled, not tonight and never looked up. Didn't offer to see if there were any available for the next night. The pool area wasn't kept up during the day. Dirty used towels, layed sprawled out all day, trash, etc, wasn't picked up as the day went on. The pool water itself was cloudy, the service dirty with leaves. It's only a 3 par, 8 hole so don't expect a luxerious hotel with an 18 hole course either. The "non-smoking" room smelled of smoke. Not to mention the carpet was stained in a few places. Overall, I probably wouldn't stay here again.
