The staff here are amazing - best customer service I've seen in a long time. Also the best smelling lobby, with free hot apple cider 24/7 during the holiday season! -
You have to be invited by a member or magician but it is worth trying to wrangle Dress up, eat steak, say hi to Irma the invisible piano player, enjoy the amazing ambiance, see the close up show! -
They aren't kidding about the dress code. Wear your wingiest wing tips. -

Not sure about hotel
Went here once to see the magic. The food was VERY expensive and you have to eat it. But it's an experience everyone in LA has to do once. A true LA "must." I'm sure the hotel is great for tourists, but I've never been.
unique warmth in customer service
From the front desk, to the room attendants, everyone was exceptionally welcoming, warm and friendly, surely something I didn't expect on my first visit to Hollywood. My teenaged daughter and I felt so at home at Magic Castle, and will stay again.
Pool views and amazing service

Free Mini-Bar Treats, DVDs
Truly unparalleled customer service. I can't think of a place I've stayed with more personalized service, anywhere in the world. And such a fun place to stay! Free mini-bar and free movie dvds, a pool that is open 24 hrs, great help from the front desk staff if you are staying with kids, access to the private Magic Castle club, rooms with views beyond compare and space space space - many rooms include full kitchens and bedroom/front room arrangements with 2 tv's. Did I mention the free treats and mini-bar snacks? Last but not least, again, the service: whatever you are doing in LA, the staff will give you detailed assistance if you are doing business in LA, just coming to enjoy the sun with the family, or are out to hit all the best restaurants or site-see. Be sure to ask for pool toys, too, if you're going to take a dip!
Close to everything!
This is by far the best deal in Hollywood! Free snacks, Free internet & Free heated pool! It is close to everything in Hollywood, the Kodak, Graumans, The Walk Of Fame, Universal Studios, CBS, Beverly Hills & the Subway!! How can you go wrong?
Best Service Ever!!!!
The staff at the Magic Castle Hotel are amazing. They make every effort to ensure you have a wonderful stay and are very knowledgable about the City and locations of places. We recently visited with a large group for the national championship game, and the staff decorated the lobby with our team colors for when we returned. It was fantastic! I had a wonderful experience and will return for another visit soon!
Best service in LA
Had my wedding @ Yamashiro and myself and my guests stayed at the magic castle hotel. They were fantastic. Coordinated everything, made that part of my wedding weekend worry free. Everyone loved it. If I could give them 10 stars I would.
Friendly and accommodatiing
I've stayed here several times, though not with my family, since I was here for the purpose of going to The Magic Castle, but I've witnessed the fun families with children have been having. For me, with a welcoming greeting at the front desk followed by help up the stairs with bags, I instantly feel very comfortable every time I'm there. What a pleasure it is to be able go back to the desk and request milk, soda or wine plus an assortment of snacks...all with no charge and all so cheerfully given. Sometimes the folks at the desk seemed to know what I needed (such as directions or a taxi) almost before I did! It's a homey, comfortable place with a caring staff: a good spot for one and all!
Convenient and comfortable
This hotel is great if you are planning on doing the Hollywood Blvd. experience. It is literally a block away, which is great because you can walk around and don't have to travel far to get back. Its also great, because if you're planning on partying, you don't need a cab. The other service they offer is free DVD rental. This place is great for families. We stayed in a suite and had a full bathroom, kitchen and 2 beds. It reminded me of a nice apartment. Very comfy.

Superb service
I stayed here for one night. It was my husband's birthday and there was a small cake waiting for us, which was a surprise to both of us. I'd asked for the nicest room they had - they gave us a free upgrade to a suite. They allowed us to check out an hour later for no fee. The room had free wi-fi and there were free snacks in reception all day. The staff bent over backwards to help in any way they could - I would highly recommend a stay here.

Gross Hotel
This was a terrible experience. Their website misleads you to think it is really nice and close to everything. I booked a room for a romantic getaway and wow, it was terribly embarassing to bring my wife there. The cable didn't work, the room stunk, they had no room service, the outside was digusting. People live there and are really loud along with the huge garbage truck that came in the middle of the night waking us up. Needless to say, we didn't spend anytime there and the romantic mood was gone. NOT worth the $200 they make you pay for the room. DON'T GO THERE. I do have to give them credit for their customer service though, I complained and got half off the room.
