Not the same old place.
I have been staying at the Olympia for several years. It used to be great. It has recently come under new management. Now they take days to call you back. Meanwhile, the hotel gets booked up. Or my most recent experience........!!!!!!!!! I made reservations several months ago. They left me a message today to tell me they are canceling my reservations. "The owner is having an "Event". Here is a number of a reservation service." What?!!! That is just not right. It's peak summertime....there's no more rooms. That's why I made my reservations months ago. Bad business. They just haven't got a clue. No longer a loyal patron. So sad.
Cozy Ocean View Room
We had a great room with a filtered ocean view. The bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious. The furniture was updated and stylish. The location was great, a short walk to downtown and a short walk to the ocean. The doors to the room were sliding glass doors, didn't detract from the stay, just different. Overall we had a great stay!
