Don't just blindly buy a ticket and wait in line, other busses around the corner can be less packed and leave at different times - Lucky Star, Travel Pack. Also, some busses have wi-fi!

for $15 you can't complain about the loud passengers taking 4 hour canto phone calls or the malfunctioning heater in the dead of a winter storm.

Buy the ticket to Boston $16 one way. The bus is pretty much comfortable. But no wi-fi inside.
