Intercontinental New Orleans
From the hotel:
InterContinental New Orleans enjoys one of the city’s most coveted locations: two blocks from the French Quarter, four blocks from Harrah’s New Orleans, six blocks from the riverfront and – come Mardi Gras time – a front row spot on the St. Charles Avenue parade route. The Morial Convention Center, Uptown and the Louisiana Superdome are also nearby.

They are upgrading their internet but only have wireless in the lobby and meeting rooms. Only brought my Kindle Fire so wired doesn't help me at all. Good service so far. -
Shower early if you're a fan of hot water. -
Great place to celebrate mardi gras in the stands -
Great place to stay..valet was a little slow the first day. -
Poor customer service. No wifi. The restaurants aren't open during the day on weekends. This hotel did not live up to what I expect from an Intercontinental. -
Very thin walls and no wifi... What year is this 1996? -
No wifi in rooms...terrible! But everything else was perfect. -
Can't believe this is an Intercontinental. Had to wait to check in until 6pm! No in-room wi-fi?! No room service menu in room either. OLD TV. Room is nice, for the year 1990. NOT worth the money. -
4 stars hotel without wifi??? Baaaaad idea!! -
Internet now free for Ambassadors! -
No Wifi, internet with cable isnt free, this is not acceptable for 2011 -

Not a bad place to stay. Bed is to die for, so soft. Only bad thing was couldn't close heavy curtains. Too much light in room at night. -
No in room WiFi and the wired internet locks itself to a single MAC address. Not a place for anyone that wants to work. -
No WiFi on level 9. Not acceptable for this class of hotel. Luckily I've got unlimited 3G ;-) -
Front desk manager not helpful. There is a key w/ my name on it but, "I can't give it to u, until I speak to person whose room the name is in!" while holding the key with my name clearly on it @1am! -
Spectacular property - first-class all the way BUT no free Internet access which is a no-no! -
Unfortunately the walls are thin and I was woken up to my neighbors 5am alarm two days in a row. The first day no one was in the room and someone came up and turned it off (which was nice). -
How about some wireless access. The wired approach makes you want to wrap it around your neck! Come on man, it's 2011 -
Great rooms and excellent service!
