Great location. Stayed in the historic tower - king bed room is pretty big for a downtown hotel. Didn't care that the pool was closed. -
If you're planning on swimming, call ahead to make sure the pool is open. Otherwise you have to haul the family across the street to swim. -

The Trump across the street is 10 million times better in terms of service and amenities. -
Very cool place! We are having a week long event in late June and look forward to it. Maybe we will have Chicago deep dish pizza! -
Historic tower definitely smells that way. Housekeeping staff not properly trained in shower maintenance. Rooms are small despite "upgrade". Definitely not looking forward to another ICH stay. -
no free Wi-Fi. that is unbelievable! -
Excessive prices, small rooms, and the pool was under construction during our stay. Not overly impressed by anything except the arcitecture. -
Very nice hotel but it would have been nice if they had told us the pool was closed! Said the city won't let them put that on their website but I came here FOR the pool! Very unhappy!!! -
The pool is closed :'( -
This landmark hotel allows guests to bring one dog, no size limit. There is a $100 security deposit required, $50 of which is used as a nonrefundable pet service fee. -
I am the new mayor! Hope everyone has a happy stay at my hotel :) -
Bar staff awesome: discrete, know their beers, offer topups perfectly on time. -
That pool is gorgeous -
Wine, Cheese, and Chocolate! soooo gooood! -
Definitely stay in the historic tower side of the hotel! -
pool is pretty amazing and spooky at the same time. original pool from the late 20's, love the original pool tiling. -
Absolutely beautiful. View as many floors as you can! -
Beautiful hotel. I hope the pool never changes. A Chicago landmark -
The gorgeous mosaic pool is a must-swim feature. -
The ICChicago's bar is pretty good, for a hotel bar. -
Cool Babylonian architecture. Starbucks shop less crowded than others nearby. Eno wine bar. Striking pool.
One of the best hotels in Chicago
They definately have the best pool I have ever seen. It's like something from the 1920's. We always make a point to stay there around Chri...
