GREAT place to stay
What a pleasant place to visit. The Duffys are the nicest people around and the cottages are top notch. The Pub has the best burgers and sandwiches and the GREATEST pizza. Friendly atmosphere.
great place
This place is very popular for cottage stays ....... we have been going for years. The pub is quiet and friendly, the owner are great. It is one of the highest rated places in lake geneva on tripadvizor etc. we love Duffys
Not worth the money
Duffy's Pub and Cabins is simply not worth the money they charge. The cabin bathroom is so small you cannot move in the shower. the bath towels are thin, worn, and skimpy. The bed linens are paper thin and nothing appears to be clean and fresh. The cabins have the feel of a guy's hunting weekend cabin - not a family oriented place at all. The last time we went there, we waited outside of the office for over an hour until the owner drove up in his car. He "forgot" that we were checking in that day and made no apology. We then had to wait until he made up the beds so we could go in. He was very unprofessional and arrogant. There is a pub on the premises, but, once again, it is full of locals who are loud and disturb the peace of the area when they are leaving in their trucks when the bar closes. You are much better off staying in Lake Geneva where the rooms may cost a little more, but the cleanliness, friendliness of the staff, and welcoming feel is far worth your precious vacation time.
