Don't believe the hype!

You feel like you've stepped in to a time warp or the movie set of "Casablanca". The hotel is quaint, and charming if you are from Europe and are used to the small and rather damp musty rooms. The bathrooms are tiny and need upgrading, and although its lovingly "restored", does that mean we are sleeping on "used" and recycled furniture? On the plus side, the lobby is full of character, and the tropical garden with a small pool is a nice feature. And the location is a short distance to South Beach.
