Sadly, this is the only place in Aurora.  It would be well worth the added travel to stay some place else.

The hotel is old, and the service is poor.  Their moto is "the customer is always wrong".

My room was dirty, I had to clean someone elses hair out of the tub to take a shower.  Room locks never worked.  Their solution was to just leave my door open.  Sure with a laptop and camera equipent inside, what were these people thinking.

Then we had an 8 hour power failure in the middle of the nights.  The emegency lights didn't last long, and they did nothing to help people navigate the hotel.  We found an elderly couple trying to carry their suitcases down 4 flights of stairs in the dark.  They said they could call for help because the phones didn't work.

What did they care, they carged everyone the full price for the night. When I said I didn't think it was fair, I was told to bad, we have your credit card information.

So, if you want to sleep with a piece of mind, travel a few extra miles and stay elsewhere
