Perfect

Rating: 10

My husband and I honeymooned at this hotel and were blown away by the service. The hotel is nothing short of beautiful, and the staff treats you like royalty and like family at the same time. The concierge, Andrew, went out of his way to take care of us. He is truly a good person, and really knows how to make his guests feel welcome and happy. He is the feather in this fine hotel's cap. The bathrooms are breathtaking, and the rooms are so comfortable. The view of downtown Denver is amazing. If you want a romantic hotel this is absoutlely the place. You will not be dissapointed.

Gorgeous hotel, wonderful service

Rating: 10

I went there for a romantic night with my boyfriend and was so pleased. The room was absolutely beautiful...they had upgraded us to a corner suite and it couldn't have been more perfect. The service is fantastic and everyone treats you so well. Plus, the location is amazing. Definitely the best hotel in Denver.

Elegance in the City

Rating: 10

Hotel Teatro treats everyone like royalty. From the time you're professionally greeted by the friendly doormen to the time you say goodbye to the entire staff, (that somehow remember to call you by name).....Hotel Teatro is a pampered luxury that even a Denverite should experience at least once. I enjoy it for its proximity to the Theater on one side and its convenience to Larimer on the other. (So nice to walk to the Market for Sunday coffee). All of my out of town guests stay here & love it.

Great romantic stay

Rating: 8

For our anniversary, we stayed in a junior suite with a romance package that included champagne and rose petal turndown. The room was great, pleanty of room, with two bathrooms. We were located next to the elevators and they were noisy during the day. We did have a slight issue with their service but they made it up to us by giving us a free upcoming night stay.

Uncomfortable Luxury

Rating: 4

I' wont call this place a rip off but the the "Superior Queen" size room is simply to small for a couple. There is a coffee maker and a iron, but no practical place to plug it in. The light in the bathroom makes you look like a ghost, there is nowhere to do your make-up, says my wife. Simple unpractical things that drive you crazy. No wifi in the room -cost you $4,95 an hour to go online via ethernet cable. The room is just very small and not well designed. I guess if you just want to crash here after a night out it's ok but if you mix business with pleasure its not the right place. The staff is very friendly but you always feel hustled for tips. The bed is great for one person. The sheets and towels are top notch. Room rate goes up by 30% with hidden charges (no free parking, wifi, ice in room, etc) Too bad - could be a great place - for my money it's below average.

A room with a view

Rating: 10

Hotel Teatro is the best hotel I have stayed at in Denver! I have now tried all of the luxury hotels in Denver and Teatro is my favorite. I have stayed many times and just like any city hotel they do have some rooms that are smaller than others. I recomend asking for the Deluxe King room as they are large and have the luxury bathrooms. This hotel is remeniscent of a beautiful New York or Chicago hotel so if you are looking for basic and cheap, it is NOT the place to stay. Ask for a room on the top floor. They are a little smaller, but the view from the balcony is awesome!

very disappointing weekend stay

Rating: 4

Very disappointing stay after the staff incorrectly entered our reservation into their system. The lower class room we wre given was very noisy, right between the elevators and opposite noisy airconditioners on building next door. Staff seemed to care little that the hotel had made an error. The room was extremely small and cramped; not at all up to advertised standard. All in all a bad stay, Hotel is NOT recommended.

Very Romantic

Rating: 10

The man that is now my Fiance brought me to the Hotel Teatro after a romantic night on the town. The desk clerk asked us some questions and then offered to send someone to our room to run us an aromatherapy bath. We were just delighted. Restaurant Kevin Taylor sent up a couple of Martini's to complete our romantic evening. We are planning our next visit for our Wedding Night next month.

A Magical Night!

I can't imagine a more perfect place for a wedding night. We had champagne and rose petals sprinkled on our bed when we arrived. The bubble bath was the perfect end to our day. We hope to make a visit to this hotel an annual tradition.

Great Hotel Choice

Rating: 8

I had a very good experience at the Hotel Teatro. We stayed there because it is an easy walk to theatre. I'm glad we did. It looked recently renovated. The decor is subtle, understated elegance. The room was not large, but I didn't mind, because the accommodations were so tastefully done. The hotel staff was courteous and efficient. I would recommend it for both the corporate and business traveller.

Re: Hotel Teatro

Hotel Teatro in Denver got it right.

From the moment the bellman opened the cab door to welcome you in, every connection with a hotel employee was consistent. Consistently excellent and I was surprised by my appreciation for it. Then I realized, how often does one receive a truly 'hospitable' experience in a downtown hotel in a major US city? Rarely I believe. As a seasoned business traveler, I know what I'm looking for and I know what is real and not real.

The rooms, the comfort and quality of the environment was stellar - as expected. The real beauty was the service....the unexpected excellence that was delivered from the bellman to the front desk to the concierge to the housekeeper. They all got it right.

I encourage anyone booking a hotel in Denver to only consider the Hotel Teatro for a genuine hospitable experience.
