Hotel Seagate in Toledo (none / 0)

This was the worse place I have ever stayed.  My wife and I stayed here because the wyndham and Radisson were sold out for the marathon.  We walked in and were immediately struck by a smell in the lobby that can only be described as a cross between dirty socks and cat.  The person behind the counter was very pleasant and that was the ONLY good thing about our stay.  The hotel has 18 floors and all but one of the elevators were out of order which meant a very long wait every time we went to our room.  We arrived at out room and discovered an old room that needed updating badly.  There was a general dirty smell to the room and there was dirt along the wall throughout.  We were surprised to find that there were no pillowcases on the pillows and the tissue box in the bathroom was empty.  Free wireless Internet was advertised and was not available in the room.  When I called about it, the clerk told me it was apparently not working.  I called two more times with inquiries: First I called to see if they had papers for sale, and the response I got was to go over to the Radisson to get one.  In the morning I called down and asked it there was coffee for sale or available in the lobby, and their response was.... you guessed it.... " I think you can get coffee at the Radisson".
