    For all I'd heard about the tea service in the Bar Seine at the Hotel Plaza Athenee in NYC, I must say that I wasn't thrilled. The scones were mouth-wateringly fresh and hot, but the service and rest of the spread was average. They saved their greatest attention for the hotel's guests and nearly  left my group to rot into the garish pseudo-Moroccan interior. But I loved the scones!
