Doesn't get any better then this folks

Rating: 10

Where do i begin?? from the perfect location to the rooms or the wonderful staff that goes the extra mile to make your stay one to remember, I couldn't find much wrong with this hotel...even when i looked under the bed!!!. The staff members are extemely kind and know how to make you feel like a millionaire. Asim, Chris and Matt took care of all my arrangements from show tickets, cars, and restaurants... that saved me alot of time. The managers John Avina and Trevor Boerger were easily accesible and willing to help, they have trained their staff to follow their lead. I really enjoy this hotel and hope that you will as well.

Best Small Luxury Hotel in the City

Rating: 10

The Hotel Elysee is a little jewel of a hotel. I loved the décor and the free breakfast and wine and cheese reception in the club room and I appreciate the incredible service from all the staff. They exude an easy happy efficiency. For just a bit extra they offered to upgrade me and my sister to a junior suite and we felt like a princesses all week!

Loved our Stay!

Rating: 9

I just finished a five-night stay with my two children, and we were very, very pleased with the accommodations, the service, and the location. The hotel is a short walk to Rockefeller Center, Times Square, and Central Park, and the neighborhood contains upscale shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed the hotel's continental breakfast. Our room was comfortable and immaculately clean, and we never heard any street noise or the other guests. We'll be back!!

Dusty Gem

My husband and I spent three blissful days in NY and four nights at the hotel Elysse. It was very nice not to pay $30 for continental breakfast each morning, and the evening wine reception was a pleasant surprise. Although in need or some renovation the rooms are large and comfortable. I graded service as sketchy because the head concierge forgot to make our dinner reservations and get us our 'Producers' tickets. What really irked me was her excuse. "We were really busy down here", seemed hardly professional, and even less true since we made the request a day prior. In all the Elysee is a great spot. Keep an eye on the rates as they fluctuate erratically. We got a great one!

European Charm in New York City

Rating: 10

Exceedingly comfortable with a marvelous staff. The Club Room which serves complementary breakfast in the morning and wine in the early evening is lush and inviting. We have stayed in suites and regular rooms (there are no "regular" rooms). Each is unique and well appointed. We recommend The Elysee to all of our friends.

Awesome Hotel!

Rating: 10

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was in an excellent location. We loved the size of the room and it was clean and well organized. We especially enjoyed the H&H Bagels for breakfast and the cheese and wine in the afternoon was excellent. There were numerous choices of good cheeses as well as crackers, nuts, fruit, bread etc. For those celebrating they offer champagne as well. The staff was prompt with questions and with requests. We look forward to going back!!!

The Elysee Hotel is warm and wonderful with a great desk person who made us feel as welcome as if we were returning home. Every question was answered intelligently and with sincereity. We particularly enjoyed your breakfasts and your late afternoon drinks and hors 'doeuvres. So relaxing after a stressful day. Also like the appearance of the hotel and the rooms - very welcoming.

The Best Hotel in New York City!

Rating: 10

The Hotel Elysee, is the best hotel i have ever stayed at in New York City. Its never overcreowed with people and therefore the people that work there always have time for you. Its absolutley gorgeuos inside the hotel itself and then the rooms are just imaginitive, if you ever in New York City and not staying at the Elysee, your missing out on the real New York City expierience!

    • The lads on the front desk can book dinner in the top restaurants for you. And if it rains, they have umbrellas behind the desk.
    • During your stay, why not try the Picnic in the Park package? Share sweets with your sweet on a signature hotel blanket, during warm months, or on a horse-drawn carriage ride in winter.

Re: Not What I Expected

Pluses - The location is very convenient for the sights of Manhattan. The complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres were good. The complimentary continental breakfast was average. Minuses - Not what one would expect for the price. I stayed a week with a group and we had rooms on various floors in the hotel. We looked at each other's rooms. Some were very small, all had extremely small bathrooms, some had no minibar. At least 3 rooms on each floor are next to the elevators and you can hear them at all times. I was surprised the soaps were never changed and they were getting thin by the end of the week. My radiator clanged, banged and gurgled loud enough to wake me a couple of times a night. I reported it and was told, the system is old nothing can be done about it. One of my friends had no heat for 2 nights because it took that long to fix a faulty thermostat. The hotel states they have a concierge service, but when I asked about the harbor tours, I was give a couple of brochures, one dated 2005, that was it. Service was at best mediocre. (Get used to opening the front doors yourself) Even if they cut the price in half, I would not go back.
