Our stay at the Edgewater was outstanding - the room was very clean. The people at the front desk were very nice - I had made reservations on line and they were somehow made for the wrong date - they fixed it and gave me an upgrade to a water view room. The only thing I had to complain about was the breakfast - the lady that was in charge of the area was cleaning the tables and such with bleach water and then a little later I saw her put out more food wearing the same gloves she used to clean with - so I would not eat the breakfast they offer. Other than that it was a very nice place and I will stay there again.
icy reception
The Edgewater was expensive but I paid extra for a water view. When I checked in, the room looked at a parking lot. I complained and they didn't care or even pretend to. Breakfast was hung on my doorknob. It consisted of canned fruit, canned fruitjuice and plastic wrapped cakes and muffins. The exercise room and steam room was broken. And their parking lot was a long walk from the hotel.An entirely unpleasant experience.
