Partner Reviews: Hotel Andra
Incredible Service for my big day!
I was married in August and my bridesmaids chose Hotel Andra to stay at for the night before my wedding. The staff was so accomadating in helping line up rooms for us girls. They were understanding to us running in and out on last minute errands and helped with a large number of bags and requests. My photographer even temporarily rearranged the lobby for photos. The staff was accomadating in finding a private place for our "first sight" photos. It was more than I (and the girls) could have planned for and asked for. We had a wonderful time and would highly reccomend this hotel.
Great Location/Beautiful Rooms
We stayed here for our anniversary and loved it. The hotel is beautifully updated. I loved the room decor. Awesome colors and designs. Finally someone got modern right! The people are so nice and helpful. From the second we walked in to the second we left, they made us feel so important. The location was great. We were able to park the car and walk! So refreshing! The Belltown nightlife is right there! I would definitely stay there again.
Affordable Luxury in the Heart of Belltown
Hotel Andra is a cool Hotel located in the hip Belltown. I was really impressed with the size of the rooms and the comfortable beds. The bed was so comfortable it was hard for me to get up for work the next day. I also was impressed with their service in recommending places to go around town.
Excellent Accomodations
I stayed at Hotel Andra recently and was very pleased. The valet was prompt when parking my car and the front desk staff were friendly and got me to my room quickly. Although, I didn't get to spend much time in my room, the time that I did was great. The room was huge and had all the amenities of an upscale hotel and more. Actually, I should've asked what kind of beds they had, they were almost too comfortable and hard to get out of. Other than that, the view of the Seattle's downtown area from the room was stunning. I hope to stay there again on my next visit!
Great experience!
This is one of the most unique hotels I have ever stayed in. I recently made a visit to Seattle and was had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Andra. My room was beautifully updated with tons of amenities, and the hotel staff was very helpful in helping me find my way around the city. For the price I know of no better deal in Seattle.
ABSOLUTLY ALL-AROUND WONDERFUL
From the moment I approached the door the bell staff was SO nice. The front desk was a bit busy but very nice also. The bellman Justin showed me a few rooms. I was VERY inpressed with the decor of the whole hotel and the size of the rooms. The rooms rocked. I actually only was given a little tour because I was on a time limit but I would be SO excited to stay there. I've also heard nothing but great things about the resaurant.
Kind of like staying in an IKEA (but expensive)
For the amount we paid, we were disappointed. The NY Times had reviewed it a few months earlier so we thought we'd give it a try. The rooms were tiny, dark, the bathrooms were LOUD (you could hear EVERY time the people next door flushed,) the amenities were few & far between (the rooms were renovated but only half-way, it seemed,) the hallways had a WHIRRING noise (from the freezers that held plastic bags full of ice- why?) and the 'gym' was a 'hotel room' with a few pieces of equipment inside. The rate was $280/night including the valet, and i honestly wish we had stayed an additional night in vancouver (where we had a condo suite for $220) instead of at Hotel Andra! O, but the bedsheets were comfy.
Looks great - but that's it
If cool furnishings mean luxury to you, this is the place. If service and amenities are important, spend the money elsewhere. In our experience, no one really cared about us. We got a Lux Suite, and when we checked in (early enough with plenty of rooms available) we were given 410. We thought, "How bad can it be?", and didnt request a higher floor. Big mistake, because at the cost of a luxury suite, we were practically at street level and could hear EVERYTHING through the narrow, old windows. Demand a higher floor. Another of many examples of poor service: Our friendly request to the front desk for wine glasses (none in the room), was transferred abruptlynot OK well take care of you. For great service, you shouldnt have to ask for something twice. Its like visiting a cool friends vintage apartment, not being pampered in a service-oriented boutique hotel.
More than you would expect
Absolutely loved the place, from the lobby to the rooms to the restaurant. They have paid attention to smallest details and the staff is clearly schooled on service in a luxury property. They are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The rooms and decor were fantastic. Beyond that, the flat panels in the elevators are a unique touch. I highly recommend giving this property a try.
Service, location...all execptional!
The service was outstanding, the location could not be better and the hotel is beautiful, not like anything else in Seattle. The Hotel Andra has become our favorite hotel in Seattle. The beds are amazing, the rooms was comfortable and Lola was a great place for breakfast! We walked 4 blocks to the Pike Place Market, 2 blocks to Nordstroms and Macys, yes we did some shopping! The staff was really wonderful and helpful. We will be back!
modern, cool hotel near a great restaurant
the hotel andra is one of the most beautiful, modern downtown hotels we have. and tom douglas' upscale greek restaurant (lola) is atttached. highly recommended.
Good pick
Rooms were very clean and beds very comfortable. Staff was friendly. They let us check in early and check out late. Lola Restaurant is excellent. Easy walking distances to Pike's Market, Downtown and Space Needle. Would highly recommend. Only criticism is the maids and the honor bar attendant would enter the room even when the privacy sign was on. Also, we reserved a suite (part of an online special) but were given a small room with two double beds near the elevator. Otherwise an excellent boutique hotel.
very Comfrotable
In all of the hotels I have stayed in the beds are the most comfrotable. The staff in the bar was very nice. The staff at the counter was very Courteous

Hotel Andra is near all the main sights not to far from all the hot spots. A super plus is Tom Douglas has this corner on lock with his amazing restaurants just a step away! -
Beat bloody marybin the city and the Bavaria eggs benidict is the best. -
Walk across the street to Dahlia Bakery for a great breakfast. -
Sit by the heater in the lobby!
