Great place; small rooms

I stayed at Hotel 55 for two nights a month or so ago and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Aside from the rooms being small, they were well-appointed and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and they served free continental breakfast each morning.

The easy way to get to it would be to take the tube to the North Ealing stop, as we found out after getting off at a different stop and finding ourselves somewhat lost. The small town of Ealing, which is a short five minute walk from the hotel has a lot of shops, food, and a theatre.

While the hotel itself is a 10 or 15-minute tube ride outside of London proper, it was overall a great experience and I would not hesitate to book a room there again.
