Bring your own pillows!
I stay at Holiday Inn frequently because of its consistently high standards. This particular hotel was nice as usual, but unfortunately had a couple of sub-standard surprises. The bed pillows on this otherwise wonderful king bed were lumpy and only about 15" - 18" wide, so they are obviously very cheap, old and worn out. The bathroom lighting was very dark, too. Everything else about the room was fine and comfortable.

I'll stay again
Very nice staff and property. The rooms are large and the swimming pool is kept up well. And, it's nine feet deep! One side of hotel faces to the mountains and on a clear day you can see Mt. Pisgah and Cold Mountain. We visited the Blue Ridge Parkway which is only 1 mile away. We'll be back.
