Castleberry Hill is a residential neighborhood that has been revitalized and is a popular area in Atlanta for locals and guests alike! Stay away, stay far away
Though the website looks nice, and they offer a "fitness room" (which consists of a non air-conditioned closet sized room that, at the time of my stay, had broken and out of order decades old equipment) this place is horrible. The staff is decent, they offer no airport shuttle, no breakfast, no change is available for the only vending and ice machines located on the first floor, the closest place to get a newspaper is three blocks away, the non-smoking room and the linen changed daily smell like smoke, the room was the size of a small shoebox, the tv is located hospital room style in the top corner of the room and is about the size of a deck of cards, and the surrounding neighborhood probably not the best place to be walking around at night. Stay somewhere downtown, especially if you're here for a conference, or an event at the CNN Center or the Georgia dome, etc. This may sound like I'm a nit picking whiner, however, let me assure you that even a standard room at the Super 8 beats the absolute hell out of this joint. As for the pros- the air conditioner works well as do the microwave and mini-fridge.
