Fun Getaway

Rating: 10

My 11 year old son and I stayed and there was lots to do for both of us. I got up early and sat out by the lake and journaled. Later the two of us rented a motor boat and a touring bicycle for two. We had a blast riding it around the lake. I really prefer room service, but this is an intermediate hotel for Disney. At any rate, the walk to the main eatery was nice and filled with friendly people and families. The pools looked like fun, but it was a bit chilly for swimming.

Expensive, but worth it for the memories

Rating: 10

I stayed here during my younger days while I lived in MN and vacationed down here. Now as an adult, I needed a vacation, and wanted some nostalgia along with it. Disney is the best for this. Wonderful landscaping, great ambiance, wonderful food, albeit expensive. Be prepared to stay at least 3 days to experience most everything, and leave with your wallet ALOT lighter.

Island Paradise

Rating: 10

Great hotel! Comfortable, colorful rooms with tropical flair. The only complaint I have is that I wish the beds were at least queen size, but if it's just one or two persons in the room, it's no big deal.

    • They have an awesome pool! I would highly recommend this hotel... Great food at the buffet and has a great marketplace!
    • Nice, but JW Marriott Grande Lakes is better!
    • No need to pay for internet. If you connect free net in the lobby, you do in your room!
    • The lamb and beet salad at La Luce was great! The lamb was so tender...must be SLOW cooked.
    • Fantastic gym! Open 24 hours and features top of the line equipment. Just don't forget your room key! You will need it to get in.
    • Stick around after sundown! Swim and treat yourself to smores! So much fun, and a great deal! Have yourself a "fireside chat" :)
    • Try Cornish hen in bistro. Overpriced (isnt everything here?) but a good meal
    • Buy beer at the grocery store. You can get a 6 pack for the price of 1 beer at the hotel
    • Do no send packaged to the Hotel. It will cost you 5$ per packaged for removed
    • Blueberry infused martini is amazing at la Luce
    • Check out the chicken soup in the Harvest Bistro. Add a little salt and pepper and you have a meal.
    • make sure to try the cinnamon rolls in Muse!!!!
    • Awesome hotel !! Don't rent the tubes for lazy river $5 a day. Buy your own.
    • it nation ftw
    • Open 24 hours
    • Swim im lazy river
    • Drinks poolside are WAYYY too expensive. $7 for a CAN beer. Thanks for ripping guests off.
    • Anyone staying at the host hotel for USCA, you'll need a credit card for incidental expenses.
    • Great atmosphere and great food! Awesome view of the lazy river!
    • Great pool for kids. Lazy river connects several small pools. The slide provides several turns and was really fast.
    • had the butterscotch pudding after dinner too... it was awesome and the toffee with it yummmmmm
    • don't swim against the current unless it's your morning workout...
    • Butterscotch pudding is heavenly...
    • No need to pay if you take shuttle bus from Hilton Bonnet Creek to Walt Disney World. It's free :D
    • Fig Bianca pizza at La Luce incredible!
    • Crunchy chocolate moose cake at the deli rocks :-)
    • Kids Eat Free Breakfast and Dinner - Harvest Bistro
    • The pool at the hilton is 3 feet deep except when under the bridges which is 4 ft. You can use the waldorf pool which is deeper and less kidified
    • Great hotel, and convinient location :)
    • Great hotel best kept secret! Wonderful breakfast buffet.
    • The pomegranite mojitis are to die for!
