Gran Bahia Principe Jamaica

As Hotel Maven Tim Leffel put it:

This is not the kind of place you go for solitude of course. We're talking 757 rooms, 3 pools, 7 restaurants, 5 bars (including a swim-up bar), a kid's club, and the usual mega-hotel impersonality."

I am still here but can't wait to leave tomorrow. My experience has been dreadful. The staff is slow and rude. The food is cafeteria style and extremely bland. The spa is a joke with their scheduling. They have these "hospitality" clowns that don't know the meaning of customer service. If you have any desire to take advatage of their low fares you will regret it. Believe me you get what you pay for. Toilets overrun and then they overflow in the grounds below. The staff goes around with incense to diffuse the smell and believe me it smells at 50% occupancy! So just you wait when the full 2,000 rooms are done. The beach is man made and consequently there are no fish. But if you decide to snorkel I recommend you bring your own gear. The 1 hour gear usage you are given is a kmart $5 dollar special. Nothing wrong with kmart if you shop there but if you are getting 5 dollars worth of gear... well lets just say I hope you don't mind swallowing some water.
There is one good guy there... Adamier he tried his best to move us from room to room and believe me his effort was appreciated. The valet guy Tovar was trustworthy and friendly. Simone in the "cafeteria" was very friendly and polite. The rest of the staff needed adrenaline and a shot of kindness because all they did was fight amongst them and asked the tourist for tips when their managers weren't around.

    Hey "hotelbahiastins":

Sure sounds like you are up to mischief here.

As a helpful hint, not many real guests around here use terms like "50% occupancy".

I recommend readers ignore your comments.

Consider this your warning.  If I am wrong, prove it.  But next time we see this sort of mischief from you, your account will be deleted.
