    • Rush tower Jr. Suites are great but only have one bed. Short people can sleep on the couch.
    • The steakhouse here has the best steaks for a reasonable price.
    • Having all sorts of problems with the hotel service and managers but the rooms are lovely.
    • Rooms are very clean and nice! Only thing is the maid is at your door between 8:30a-9:30a everyday. Be sure to leave that "privacy please" sign out.

    • The Chart House has great food.
    • This hotel rocks for the price you pay. It is a 4 star hotel at a 3 star price. With awesome rooms and a great pool. Great for the person who loves Vegas but wants to be off the strip!
    • Skip The Buffet. It is overpriced and not that good.
    • Eat at the Grotto. You won't regret it. Great food!
    • Stay at Rush Tower for the best rooms!
    • The Golden Nugget Casino opened in 1946 and is known for having over 1,900 deluxe rooms. – Adam Richman, Man v. Food
    • $39 a night gets you a renovated room in the Carson tower... Don't forget to ask for the coupon book when you check in - it is full of amazing freebies.
    • Lamont is the best BlackJack dealer in the house, keep an eye out for him and he'll make you money!
    • Pay the extra to skip staying in the South Tower aka Carson Tower. Rush, Spa, and Gold tower are great. Have stayed in them all. South tower is just a overpriced downtown LV room.
    • Rush tower is the place to stay although you can't really go wrong with any room here. Best hotel for the price in all of LV.
    • Kick it Old School...Swingers forever
    • Go to the Spa & get a massage! Ask for Ted, he's amazing!

    • Go see Feankie Moreno in the Rush room
    • Very nice remodeled rooms and pool area has a cool slide that goes through a shark tank!
    • Great rooms and friendly staff! Rooms aren't as cheesy as some of hotels on the strip.
    • No ADA access at the front entrance?!
    • Visit the end of Fremont to see the old Aladin sign!

Re: Golden Nugget

I have stayed at the Nugget many times, the most recent last week  May 2007.  I have never had a problem.  This year stayed in the North Tower, which is much closer to the casino, elevator opens right next to the casino floor and sundries shop. The North Tower is $25 per night more than the South Tower but worth the cost for the proximity, it is a very long walk from the casino to the South Tower elevators.  The hotel is sparkling clean and safe.  Never had any issues with management or hotel staff that wasn't addressed and corrected immediately. It is my hotel of choice for the Fremont Street Experience..

It is great hotel especially if you want to stay in downtown Las Vegas while you visit the city.  It is right on the main drag and it is connected to the Freemont experience.  It is cool!!
