Price gouging due to snow, rooms have been neglected.

My family began staying at this hotel when it belonged to another chain. These owners are from my home town where their family own several hotels. I have been stranded here since Friday due to a ice and snowstorm. On Monday I fell and chipped a bone in my leg because of a uncleaned place on their sidewalk, and I attempted to drive home, but I was in pain and the roads were slick. Another ice storm is predicted for tomorrow until 2:00 am and I asked for a late checkout, they refused, although there are only 3 other guest here now. The last time I was stranded here due to snow the price went up about $20.00 a night. Now I am in the same room that I had since checking in Friday and there are 2 t.v.'s one a large t.v with no remote, and a small t.v that I cannot see from the bed. My phone also stopped working and that had to be repaired. I have spent at least $3500.00 at this hotel since 2002, and it was nice at first. I will file a complaint with Wyndahm Hotels, the parent company of Days Inn. They have also lost a regular customer. If I have to check out in a ice storm and set in a rest area until the ice melts tomorrow I will tell everyone I know who comes to visit my family to stay away from the hotels these money grubbing indians own, If I was a 1 time customer that would be different, but they know me by my first name. Avoid the Days Inn in Canton N.C. on Champion Drive. Their breakfast sucks too. Cereal and no milk. That sounds great right? Screw these theives and their dump hotel. They also charged me $40.00 a nigh for 2 small Shi-Tzu's. My room looked nothing like the photos on their website. I had no bedside lamps, no t.v. with a working remote, and for 4 nights at a AAA rate of $44.99 I was charged over $300.00. They are price gouging crooks,I hope they get deported. I was also injured due to a fall because they did not clean the walkways correctly. I may be contacting a atty.now after I spoke to the female owner who;s family came over here from India and used American money to build hotels, 3 or 4 that are in my hometown. There are nicer places that are American Owned. Don't be fooled by these price gouging theives. I have contacted the Days Inn Customer Service and filed a formal complaint, and I also contacted Wyndham Worldwide who is the parent company of Days Inn. They will not get away with screwing me. I hope you will not be taken by them either. make them stick to the quoted price. They have the nerve to say I did not complain about my room but I took photos of the 25 inch t,v with no working remote, and the little portable t.v was also in there, and they just brought it in and left it. My phone stopped working, and they had to fix that. The woman who's parents are the real owners said I was offered another room, NOT!!! I hope that Obama will put a stop to giving away money to these foriegners at little or no interest who are not citizens of this country and make them work like the rest of us, who are lucky enough to still have jobs. They get millions to build these hotels, and they have a apartment to stay in, and they change their rates just because they can. I asked if I was being vcharged the $aaa rate of $44.99 and I was told yes, and I also gave them my Wyndham Rewards card. They will not get away with this. I hope the Patels are reading this. I am in Sumter S.C. so look me up if you have a problem. You said this is where you and your family are from. By the way, why are you the only Days Inn in the Maggie Valley Canton, Cherokee area who is not a member of the Better Business Bureau? Because you are the onlky place the pratices in bait and switch tactics, and price gouging. What was once a nice hotel has gone to hell with these people running it. Most nights no one even stays there, so other people must have also fallen victims to your unethical business practices. This may fly in India, but not in the United States. Go back where you came from. I also added a photo of how they fixed the tv problem
