Stayed and Enjoyed July 05

Rating: 10

Stayed here in a ocean view 2 bed 2 bath lounge, full kitchen, dinning area condo as they call the rooms. Each room is individualy owned it seems .we had 211 really nicely upkept by owners.. ITs first floor up so need for the lifts which can be a bit of a wait at times. Room overlooked lazy river so nice with the kids watch over them in there and the pool without having to be with them. The resort has indoor pool and gym, outdoor pools and spa. Nice resturant staff in there really nce especially Monica. I liked the place because its not in the tourist part of MB but close enough if you want it. We liked it that much we have booked for end of July before school is back in ..

For the money... OK

Rating: 3

We took 2 summer vacations there. The first in 2001 was very nice. However this past summer of 2002 was rediculous. They were refinishing the south side of the building and that made the best pool including a poolside bar and the only outdoor jaquzzi unavailable. We made our reservations well in advance and we told nothing of this work that was being done. We werent offered a discount nor even an apology. I asked the manager about a possible partial refund but was rudely refused. I will not stay here again. One thing we didnt like at all both times was the indoor pool. It is very closed in with no ventilation to speak of so the humidity is terrible as there is an indoor jaquizzi beside it also. Room service is Great and the food is good in the resturant. I would rate this resort a 2 Star
