In today's busy corporate America, customer service is often just "lip service".  Being in a different city and actually ill is a very scary proposition.  Kevin Pelkey was a lifeline for me and he took customer service to new levels.  It also restores some of my faith in the human condition which is sometimes challenged.

I am writing a short story on him and my evening's experience to go into a book that is being compiled called "Living Angels".

I thank Kevin uppermost but also the Doubletree SouthPark for embodying the value of customer service.  Kevin turned a nightmare evening into a tolerable situation by being there and truly caring about the outcome.  He spent time not only the day I was taken into the hospital but came back to visit me for the three days of my stay.

I am forever thankful to him.  He truely is a "Living Angel" and a true example of what customer service is all about.
