Stay ANYWHERE else.
The rooms were run-down and dirty. In the first room, I actually cleaned the sink before I would use it. I had to make sure the door was closed behind me, since it did not swing shut on its own. I did not bother clean the second. There was gum with hair embeded in it on the shower curtain, and the tub did not seem at all clean, so I stood on towels to take my shower. The linens were clean, but that's about all I can give for either room. Both of the rooms were located by door leading to the exterior of the building. During my two-night stay, the door was open the entire time, despite a sign indicating that the door was to remain shut at all times. I had to change rooms because, when I tried to plug the clock-radio in, there was a small explosion from the tangled wiring leading to the lamp, including sparks. I had to wait about an hour before someone could have a look. The staff moved me next door, but I did not sleep well because I was worried about the bad wiring in the other room. I finally got up early, which is a good thing because the maid knocked on my door at 8 AM!!! asking if I wanted the room to be cleaned that day. I sent her away (this was before I noticed the gum on the shower curtain). The day staff were unconcerned about my experiences the night before. I asked about compensation and they offered a pittance (10% on one night of my stay, which amounted to $5). They did ask if I wanted to speak to the manager, and I said yes. They said to go to my room and wait for the manager's call. I waited for two hours. No phone call. The next day, the day staff said they did not have the authority to do anything beyond the pittance that was offered, and the manager was, again, unavailable. I wouldn't stay here again if it were the last hotel on earth. I woudn't have stayed the second night, except I was traveling with others, did not know the city, and did not have means to travel to another hotel. You could do much, MUCH better!

A decent value for the $$
All things considered, enjoyed the stay here. It's not the Waldorf, but if you're looking for a cheap and clean place to stay, I would recommend. Rooms aren't spacious, but comfortable for two. Warning: there is no pay phone on the property, so if you want to dodge phone charges, you have to walk to a pay phone at another hotel. Desk staff was less than friendly, and tried to tell us we had to pay to park when site advertised free parking.
Not Quite Spacious
We selected this hotel based on price and location near downtown seattle. The price was good, but the rooms were hardly spacious, since one of the beds was about 1 foot from the bathroom door. Not bad, but not great either
