Different
The Tavern is unusual. Run mostly by Berea College students, the service is general enthusiatic and honest. The students are working for their tuition and for many of them each dollar they take home means a lot so they make their best effort. The problem is that food quality in the restuarant and room quality in the hotel are less then the prices would suggest. It is very unique though (many say the hotel reminds them of "The Shining") and is right in the middle of town making it convenient.
