The room was clean. There was a small fridge, microwave, and coffee pot, which are great when you wake up in the morning. My only problem with the place is th motel is split up into two sites. Part is on one side of the street and part on the other. The lobby with the free continental breakfast and some rooms on one side, the pool and more rooms on the other side of the street. This is a busy street and not easy to cross. I stayed on the pool side. THe parking spaces are so small on the pool side that anything bigger than a cooper mini will really have trouble fitting in the spaces, and you will be doing a 12 point turn to get out of the spaces
Good Value
Recently, my husband and I had a very pleasant stay at the Continental Inn on Ocean Ave. in Santa Cruz, Ca. The rooms are well maintained and very comfortable. The location is very convenient to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and the beach. Also, restaurants are nearby which is very helpful for either the business traveler or the tourist to this popular resort area. The service at the motel was very good and the continental breakfast helps make this motel choice a very good value.
Recommed this one
We have traveled a lot over the years and found Continental to be very satisfactory for one night or several. The rooms are confortable and very well appointed. The front desk is cordial and provides a light breakfast. It has a great location in being close to restaurants, downtown Santa Cruz and the wharf area. We recommed this one for any traveller.
