This is an Aqua Hotel now. Makai Ewa side has better view. Mauka Diamond Head side is quieter.
Wow really great value for a great place
I was very impressed by this place from the moment we drove up. It has a lovely open lobby with a fish pond and marble floors. We got a rate of $55 so we were expecting a Hawaii version of a MOTEL 8. But this was far better than we expected, we thought we had the wrong place. There was all kinds of stores, and features, a great restaurant and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was totally new, small but adequate and very clean. The AC was nice and cool and the staff was friendly. I would say this was one of the best budget hotels we have ever stayed at hands down.

Great place for the price
Stayed here for 8 nights. Had an upgrade to an King size room with an Ocean view room on the 42nd floor with kitchennette looking towards Diamond Head. I would recommend staying here if you don't mind walking a few extra blocks for the beach.
