I notice bad reviews for this hotel are all VERY old! The Tempo is sleek, and newly renovated. We dined at Amuse, after reading the menu online. Lounging comfortably on oversized leather chaise and sofa's, with an awesome view of the bay, we were treated like royalty. I am not sucking up, they were GREAT to us!
 We asked our server what the chef might recommend, and he came right to our table to chat. He said their signature dish is the "insideout BLT. We passed since the more exotic dishes  enticed, but chef Dennis brought out this specialty for us to try, and we ate it completely and immediately! SO GOOD!   The appetizer of fried goat cheese and pistachio pesto was wonderful, as was the crab salad. The entrees were just enough to fill, but not kill. Skirt steak was wonderfully richly spiced, the roast breast of duck and toasted risotto (port/ pomegranate reduction!) was divine!!!! I will long remember how wonderfully we were catered too, and how fabulous the food here. If I lived closed these folks would be my new best friends!!
