Campbell'S Lake Chelan'S Waterfront Resort Reviews || HotelChatter

Citysearch is what I ALWAYS use when wondering where to dine. This will be my first time writing a very negative review. Normally I'm on here to boost. My gf and I were visiting Lake Chelan over the weekend (fab place I might add) and were searching for a nice place to dine. Not upscale, but not hole in the wall either... we came across Campbell's and thought we'd give it a try. We were told our wait would be 10 - 15 minutes and that wasn't a problem... we sat patiently with our four children. After 20 minutes and the kids are getting restless I asked how much longer the wait would be? The hostess said, I'm really sorry but no more than 10 min. Sure, I was a bit irritated but nothing I would complain about. 15 minutes pass, still no table but a group of 6 men come up while we are waiting and ask how long the wait...they say 20 minutes and he says "come on, I know you can go clean up a table for us" - she walks away, 2 minutes later she is back and says she has a table for them! Are you kidding me!!! I immediately asked to speak to a Mgr. LIVID was an understatement, although I kept my cool - I let the Mgr. know what had happened & she apologized and got us seating around 3 min. later. Comp'd an appetizer. Well, I wouldn't have even shared the negative experience if the food wasn't pretty much gross! My friend ordered the Gourmet Mac & Cheese that you might as well call it a bowl of bread crumbs -- that thick I tell you! Dry & no where near "gourmet". The free app. Artichoke dip was the worst I've ever had with the driest dipping bread ever! I ordered the Asian ahi tuna dish -- this is the only way I can describe is as "cheaply thrown together"! Our waiter, mediocre -- not terrible but good either. I really can't say anything nice about the experience other than the people sitting around us were very pleasant! Oh & my cocktail was okay. Don't go here while visiting Chelan - I know you don't have a lot to chose from but don't chose here!
