Amazing trip...courtyard at coconut beach and enterprise rental car all the way...

Aloha!! Hope you are staying at the Courtyard Marriott on Coconut beach! They have the best staff and you get a FREE Mai Tai when you check in :)

I followed the tips and got here 2 hours before our flight. Its a Saturday night in Oct and we went through everything smoothly and quickly. No probs. Now waiting while locals play some music.

Check in online before heading to the airport. Also remember that Hawaiian makes you check in carry-ons that are over 25lbs...

If you didn't get you coffee yet, don't worry, they have a Starbucks in the terminal.

Take the left TSA line… they don't perform full body scans.

Get your private pilots license and skip security all together! :) come and go as you please. Never a delay.

If you get here too early, take a free shuttle to the Mariott and wait on the beach. You can even check your bags! Genius.

Web check-in will speed up your time at this airport considerably.

Don't speed in Kauai. Have a great trip!

Hawaiian Airlines have horrible service. Get here early. Baggage check is a cluster, staff incompetent, security line single file.

I have a suggestion for efficiency, TAKE OUT YOUR LAPTOP AND ALL TOILETRIES FROM YOUR BAG WHEN THE OFFICERS ASK YOU TO DO IT!!! Now there's a good tip!!!

Definitely get here early. We were a few hours early and it wouldn't have hurt to come even earlier. The single line does not help with efficiency.

If you are confused on where to get your rental car go out front, then behind the closed stands and there will be shuttles.

A 2nd checkpoint opens up daily from 10:30am- 12:30pm and 7:00pm-8:30pm. Located on the North end of the terminal next to Baggage Claim A.

Peak times daily are 10:30am-1:00pm and 5:30pm-9:00pm. Weekends are busier. Recommendation: check in AT LEAST 1/2-2 HOURS BEFORE YOUR FLIGHT during these times. Including INTERISLAND travel!!!!
