Looks can be deceiving
Good location, if you are a turist it will put you right in the middle of all the turist attractions in Manhattan's times square but the rooms are very old. The website pictures are taken at a very good angle and you can't really tell. No complaints on the customer service, although my boyfriend and I spent as much time out of the room as possible.
Great rates for a wonderful location
Had to swith rooms because the first one smelled really dusty, though appeared clean. Without any problem, hotel personnel accomodated our request and it couldn't get any better after that. The location is super. The check-in was a little messy b/c they seem to have more demand that they can accomodate at once, but were told to come back a little later and never again had a problem. Breakfast at Nicole is good. The location is close to everything and very helpful concierges. The price, for NY, very reasonable. Too bad they are closing down for a year, or so, for remodeling. Would definitely stay there again. Don't expect luxuries, or spot cleaning. But, nothing you can't deal with. Hey, it's NY.

Great location, great service, fair price. Just what we were looking for, and we'd definitely stay here again.
Great location
This is a perfectly located hotel ,close enough to all the fun but without maddening crowds. Good size modern rooms and bathrooms.
Beautiful and Modern
The staff was very professional and helpful, the rooms were comfortable and very European. We were very happy with every aspect of our visit.
French Flair in the Theater District!
We've stayed at other Novotels before and wanted to try the one in New York. It was a pleasant stay in a great, vibrant part of the city. We were going to stay downtown to avoid the hussle of Times Square but we were relaxed and well taken care of here. It's a beautiful, oasis in the middle of the Theater District. The restaurant and bar are great too. We highly recommend it.
