Good Value
Rooms may be secured at this casino/hotel at bargain-basement rates without compromising quality. We have never encountered lines at check-in and service is friendly. This a place patronized by locals, retirees and those who cannot otherwise afford the Strip prices. Food options are extensive and generally good though the Feast buffet is well below average. I recommend the Broler (steaks/seafood), Guadajara (Mexican) and Pasta Palace (Southern Italian). This is a family friendly hotel with Kids Quest and 11 screen movie theatre. We usually stop in at the Railhead where on Thursday nights touring blues acts perform for free or at nominal charge. The sports book is large and seems to attract a large crowd. The pool area is rediculously small and unattractive. The casino offers the usual array of gambling options and some full-pay video poker games.
