Terrific location for biking, birdwatching, etc.

"Motor Inn" is a misnomer. It's a nice, two-story hotel with a fabulous location, an excellent staff, a heated pool, and a comprehensive breakfast buffet. We brought our own bikes, to head over the bridge and into the wildlife refuge, but rentals are available. Some of the famous "Ponies" are onsite, too, for feeding. Our room on the Refuge side also gave us a view of the Assateague Lighthouse. I've stayed here in the past, and I plan to return.
