The columns is at a great location and seemed a good price. I did not try any of the packages, but there is so much to do at bar harbor that i don't think you need to splurge on a preplanned vacation. upon arrival, the lady seemed not very personable and preoccupied, showed us to our room and left. they did provide a continental breakfast from 8-10 which was tasty. They had a television in the room with cable but that didn't matter so much because we were out most of the time. the bathroom and closet doors were difficult to close in our room the edgemere. comfy setup of the room though. i liked our experience at the hatfield better.
