Terrible
I don't know abou the rest of the inn, but the cabin was just downright awful. It appeared uncleaned in months, the bathroom was so tiny you had to step over the toilet to get to the cramped shower (in which turning around was not an option), and the ants crawling around on the ceiling kept us awake all night. The people who run the place appear friendly enough and it wasn't in a bad location.
Absolutely perfect!
I stayed at this little Inn last weekend without having ever been to Key West or receiving any recommendations on where to stay. The proprietors were so incredibly hospitable; when they knew I would be arriving late, they left an envelope for me with keys and directions to my room. When we opened our room, we were like kids in a candy store. The rooms are huge, beautifully appointed, with great furniture, great bathrooms, ample windows...you feel like you're home. The location is great - it's on the quiet end of Duval but close enough so that you can walk everywhere (or bike). The daily breakfast out in the yard is great - there is a gorgeous old tree, a delicious hammock, and a sweet cat named Jake to keep you company. I would definitely stay there again.
