Scary

Considering this hotel came highly recommended to me, I was majorly disappointed when I arrived. The entire hotel screams "shabby" and not "shabby chic". It seemed like a tenament. The halls had worn out carpeting and wallpaper that was peeling. Halls and elevators smelled heavily from insectacide. The room was tiny and again shabby. The hardwood floors while shiny and well scrubbed just seem right and somehow made it seem dirty. The room was quite small with barely enough room for one person let alone two. The bathroom, however was nice but too bad the rest of the room wasn't as nice. For thirty dollars more, I found a room for the rest of my stay at a much nicer, larger and safer location. The lovely view of the brick wall I had also didn't help matters I only hope they were or are in the process of refurbishing.
