Belgraves, London
Belgraves teamed up with art book publisher Taschen to create a 7ft tree made from 385 books. On display until Jan 5.

Clardige's, London
British floral designers McQueens is responsible for this creation, titled "Forest Murmurs," and made with magnolia branches and lichen moss, and filled with crystal and emerald jewel eggs.

Four Seasons Bangkok
This tree is actually just one of 14 designed by Thai artists, designers and celebrities for the hotel's sixth annual Christmas Tree Charity Project. All entries will be installed in the lobby until December 26.

Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa
Down in Florida, this tropical-themed pastiche of gingerbread, icing, chocolate and sugar was the product of 400 hours of labor. On display, appropriately, in the hotel's Penguin Surf Shop.

Hotel Colorado, Glenwood Springs
Every evening throughout December, one million tiny lights illuminate the sandstone facade of this historic Colorado property, with one tower lit up green and the other red.

Hyatt Regency, San Francisco
In addition to a daily snow-making spectacle (showtimes are 4pm, 6pm and 8pm), plus 300,000 cascading lights, and a 30ft tree, the added bonus here is a "Small Town USA" snow village, on display through December 31.

Le Parker Meridien, New York
Easily the funniest of all the hotel Christmas decorations we've seen thus far, Le Parker Meridien is using its annual gingerbread house to poke fun at the cause of its recent forced evacuation. Which, at the time, probably wasn't so funny.

The Plaza, New York
How could we forget this classic Great Gatsby-themed tree, whose trimming required 12 people working over 19 hours with 4 ladders and 2 elevated work platforms.

Shangri-La Paris
Not only do guests get to enjoy a tree lined with Baccarat ornaments, the hotel has also created an advent calendar that's a replica of the hotel's fa�ade. Each day from Dec 1 until Christmas, one guest is chosen to unlock a window to win that days' prize, which might be anything from 2 sets of Ch�teau Baccarat glasses to a free night's stay.

Westin St. Francis, San Francisco
On display in the Westin's lobby through Jan 2, check out this 12 foot, 1200lb, rotating sugar castle, made by Executive Pastry Chef Jean-Fran�ois Houdr�. The castle features more than 20 circular towers, 30 rooms, glowing windows, and a running train.
