Grenada Travel Guide
While one part of the country seems to still be suffering with snow, the other part is at last enjoying decent weather. What does that mean? Everyone's in the mood to think about vacations.
We have our handy-dandy Caribbean Guide, fantastic European picks, and even the most anticipated hotel openings, so you've got a lot of choices to fantasize over. But be honest, many of you are dreaming of sun, sand, and sea. We are too, so that's why we're excited for a new resort--Sandals LaSource Grenada Resort & Spa.
Technically this is a renovation of the old all-inclusive LaSource resort, which we visited a few years ago. Honestly? We're happy it's getting new blood pumped into it because it was looking pretty damned sad. Big Daddy Caribbean company Sandals slapped a cool $19 million on the table offered to take over the resort. LaSource was smart enough to say "yeah, mon".
Sandals CEO Adam Stewart said in a conference that this resort will "blow your mind." We believe him, and here's why.

What is one thing people really, really love about Mount Cinnamon Resort in Grenada? According to TripAdvisor, it's Grand Anse Beach. Which isn't that surprising, considering these stunning snapshots taken by reader Cynthia during a recent stay there.
On a cold, gray day in New York, this is pretty much all it takes to perk us up (simple pleasures, right?) and induce visions of long-lasting sunsets by the beach and rickety old hammocks. According to our tipster, these delicious views are common throughout all the resort's suites—whether it's the St. George Carenage (harbor), mountain views, or just the good ol' Caribbean Sea, guests at Mount Cinnamon basically have no reason to ever leave their balconies.
We all thought Nicolette Sheriden looked great for a 40+ woman prancing on the beach in St. Barths during her vacation over the holidays with fiancee Michael Bolton but apparently someone that looks so good on the outside isn't so nice on the inside.
"They kept trying to get deals on the room and boat rentals," our source said. "They wanted a bigger boat. And he's a vegetarian - they looked all over the island for food to accommodate him." The two flew back to LA Saturday. Sheridan's rep did not return a call.
Hmmm...sounds like Michael Bolton was more of a diva than Nicolette. But with rooms starting here at 950 Euros, we kinda can't blame them for asking for a deal.
